With over 20 years experience in aerial filming and photography, Heliscott is fully conversant with the needs of the professional cameraman and photographer. The helicopter is able to provide a versatile platform to shoot from enabling the producer to achieve their goals.

In order to maintain maximum safety and efficiency our pilots are highly trained and routinely flight checked for survey and filming work.

We frequently provide our helicopters and camera mounts for television filming. Television programmes made using our equipment include documentaries, News items, Blue Peter, A Touch of Frost, and Emmerdale. In autumn 2004 watch out for a new series on television, The Flying Cook, and youll see one of our experienced pilots in action.

Camera Mounts

Choose from our range of camera mounts, which provide versatile platforms for all your filming requirements

Scott Helimount and the D1 Mount - these mounts have been developed by Heliscott exclusively for use by our customers. The Scott Helimount is externally mounted and enables fast forward helicopter speeds with remote tilt and zoom as standard. The D1 mount is internally mounted and allows vertical/downward filming, ideal for survey work.

Gyro-stabilised platforms - improve the stability of the picture, ideal for all aspects of filming, especially news gathering where exclusion zones prohibit the helicopter operating close to the action.

The Skymount - an extremely popular mount with camera crews.
